Soup Week – Day 3
Ingredients:
Olive oil
Potato
Bell pepper
Flour
Garlic
Nantucket Herb & Citrus Rub
Package of Frozen corn
1 bouillon cube
This recipe is originally from Savory Spice; however, we tweaked the recipe to our own preferences. Heat up a drizzle of olive oil. While the olive oil is heating up, cut up a pepper and potato. Sprinkle flour into the pan and heat the vegetables until they are slightly softened. Add garlic and your preference of spices (we used the Nantucket Herb & Citrus Rub). Prepare a bouillon cube and then add the bouillon cube, a packet of frozen corn, and milk to the pot. Bring to a boil and then simmer until the potatoes are soft. Once the soup is finished, serve and top off with a seasoning of your choice!
