Located just outside of the city of Park Hills, MO is St. Francois Winery & Brewery, also called St. Francois Winery and Ale House. The place is a bit off the beaten path, but it has a nice mountain view. The winery and brewery are located on the owner’s property, creating a very low-key vibe. The brewery is in a converted garage and has a variety of options for visitors to try by the glass, while the winery is located in the walk-out basement with a tasting available.

When we visited we tried a couple of beers and participated in the a tasting. We happened to be there during the grape harvest, so it was a particularly laid back day. The atmosphere was quite relaexd and ideal for visitors who want to just and sip on something for hours, while staring at a mountain view. We preferred the wine over the beer, but it did have both options; however the view was by far our favorite part.
