Located in the heart of the Southampton neighborhood along Macklind is The Copper Pig. The restaurant is located in an adorable one-story brick building with expansive glass windows in the front. On top the architecture is rounded brick with some ornamentation along it. Once inside the room features exposed wood ceilings, wood floor, brick walls, and general warm, natural tones. The restaurant is somewhat divided into two sections with one side having a large bar and the other an assortment of tables and seating.

The menu is quite eclectic with recipes from all over the world that have a modern twist. When we visited we ordered take out and had the Bao Buns and the Bi Bim Bap Bowl. Both were good; however, the meats in the bowl was incredible – it was tender and so perfectly flavored. We both enjoyed the Copper Pig and agreed we would like to return and try a few more of their dishes. For those in South City, the Copper Pig has a nice varied menu in a relaxed setting.
