Ferguson Brewing Company is located in a beautiful old brick building with green-and-yellow-painted wood molding around the windows and doors. Inside, the dim interior is simple, with a large wooden bar area in the center of the room. Tables and chairs surround the bar, and chalkboards on the walls inform patrons what beers are on tap. Generally, Ferguson’s beers are brewed to specific styles, such as pale ales, hefeweizens, IPAs, lagers, and brown ales. We found all of the beers we tried to be good representations of their particular styles and to be nice beers. If you would like some food with your beer, Ferguson has a large menu with typical pub food, including burgers, sandwiches, salads, flatbreads, and other similar fare, such as pretzels and nachos. Overall, we found Ferguson Brewing Company to be a nice example of a neighborhood pub, with a no-frills but pleasant atmosphere, hearty food options, and easy-to-drink pub style ales and lagers.
