One of our favorite places is Honesdale, PA, and each time we are there we try to visit somewhere new. The city has breweries, coffee shops, restaurants, shops, train rides, museums, and events throughout the year along the literal Main Street. Recently we stopped by the Twisted Rail Tavern to try somewhere new. The Twisted Rail Tavern is a local pub hang out with beers and bar food. There is some out door seating along Main Street, and inside there is a bar that runs along the wall, as well as an assortment of tables throughout. There is a variety of knick-knacks along the wall such as sport jerseys, helping to hone the feeling of a local pub. When we visited with family we got an assortment of wings and beers. The service was friendly and fast, while the food and drinks were classic bar-style. Weekly they also offer Bingo, making it a fun local activity spot. For those in the Honesdale area who want to just relax at a pub with some bar food, the Twisted Rail Tavern is a good pick!
