A simple, but flavorful Austrian side dish is carrots!
Ingredients:
-Bag of baby carrots
-2 to 4 tablespoons of butter
-Tablespoon of sugar
-2 bouillon cubes/beef stock/vegetable stock – low sodium preference
-Fresh parsley
Begin by placing butter in a pan and heat until frothy. Add in a little sugar and allow it to dissolve. Next add the stock of your choice and add the carrots until they are softened. Once the carrots are soft, you can remove them and top if off with fresh parsley or the herb of your choice.
Side note: You can also add some onions for a little additional flavoring.
