Red or Yellow Beets

Seasoning of Choice (Recommendation: Nantucket Herb & Citrus Rub)
A super easy dish to just throw together, but full of flavor, is roasted beets and carrots. Begin by preheating the oven to 400 degrees. Next, wash the beets and chop them into chunks. Our preference is to leave the skin of the beet on. We utilize baby carrots for all of our recipes, which makes it super easy to just throw on the pan or in the pot, without any preparation. Next place the beets and the carrots on a sheet pan. Drizzle the veggies with olive oil and squirt with lemon. Then sprinkle seasoning across the veggies and allow them to bake for around 35 minutes, depending on your consistency preference. For seasonings, we really do mix it up every time, but they are typically seasonings from Savory Spice, such as Homestead Seasoning or the Nantucket Herb & Citrus Rub.
