Recipe Week – Day 1:
Ingredients:
A head of red cabbage
White Wine Vinegar
Olive Oil
Parsley
Pepper
A dash of salt
Begin by washing the head of red cabbage and halving it. You will only need one half of cabbage so can you use the other half for something else. Begin to chop the cabbage into smaller pieces and remove the innermost hard pieces. Once the cabbage is in small and manageable pieces, add it to a bowl. Drizzle white wine vinegar, olive oil, pepper, and salt to taste. Mix the ingredients and place the bowl to the side. Next clean and chop the parsley, and add it to the bowl. Mix again and allow it to sit refrigerated for at least 30 minutes for the flavors to begin to absorb. Serve chilled and enjoy!
