Restaurant Week – Day 1 (Take-Out Version)

For those in the downtown area, Kimchi Guys is a great place to grab some take-out. Kimchi Guys is located right along the Mississippi River in downtown St. Louis in a multi-story brick building. There are several tables and chairs located in the front for visitors to sit outside. Inside the restaurant is a small space with several tables in the front and the kitchen along the back. The decor consists of metal and wood accents in an industrial space.

The menu is centered around Korean cuisine with a focus on Korean BBQ and includes appetizers, bowls, sandwiches, sides, sliders, and of course BBQ, as well as some vegetarian options. When we ordered take-out we got a couple of the combos with different sauces and a side of fried rice, honey butter corn, white radish, and kimchi. Both the food and the flavoring was tasty and made for a great, easy take-out option. Due to its location, Kimchi Guys is ideal for take-out on a cold night or once it gets warmer to enjoy a picnic along the riverfront.
