A tasty little Vietnamese restaurant in St. Louis is Banh Mi So. The restaurant is located on Grand in the heart of the Dutchtown neighborhood. Banh Mi So is located in a two-story brick building, set-back a little from the road. There is a gate in front that encloses a small patio for guests. Inside the restaurant is a long small room with tables scattered throughout. The decor is simple with pictures on the wall and the window in the front full of greenery.

When we visited, we got take-out due to the pandemic and got an assortment of dishes for our outdoor picnic lunches with our family. We had the eggs rolls (which are said to be the best in St. Louis), bun ga xao, and the com tit ga chien, while our family got the com suon and banh xeo. All of us found the dishes to have nice flavors and refreshing! Additionally, the portion sizes were perfect. Overall, we definitely enjoyed Banh Mi So and agreed the spring rolls were yummy!
Side Note: They have lots of vegetarian options!
