Sweets Week – Day 5

Although the past week has been a relief from the heat in St. Louis, the temperatures are expected to rise, making gelato a perfect activity to cool down. One of our favorite shops in St. Louis is Gelato Di Risso in The Hill, the Italian neighborhood in St. Louis. Gelato Di Risso is located in a quaint two-story brick building in the heart of The Hill. There are a few tables and chairs outside for visitors to sit at, but they can also walk throughout thei neighborhood or visit the Piazza Imos. Inside the room is a nice blend of neutral walls with exposed brick, pictures of Italy, and a display case filled with assortment of delicious gelato. There is a second room with tables and chairs for visitors to enjoy their delectable frozen treats. Gelato Di Risso provides visitor with a large assortment of flavors such asstracciatella, hazelnut, and tiramusu, or fruit-based flavors like mango. Besides gelato, Gelato Di Risso also offers visitors baked goods and various coffee drinks. We have visited Gelato Di Risso numerous times and have found the flavors each time to be delicious and a fun sweet treat!
