Sweets Week – Day 2

Located in the midst of the Central West End is Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream.  Although it is a national chain at this point with around 14 locations, it is still a lovely place to grab some ice cream! Jeni’s is situated on the bottom floor of ornate three-story red brick building. The front of Jeni’s is large open windows allowing light to flood into the room. Inside, Jeni’s has white tiled walls, rich hardwood floors, and airy light fixtures. There are two long marble tables that run across the space, providing seating for patrons. In the back there is the large ice cream display that has elegant gray-and-white tile patterns. Inside there is an assortment of fun flavors to try, including dairy free! When we visited we  have tried an assortment of flavors such as the Texas Sheet Cake, the Dark Chocolate, and Brambleberry Crisp, and every flavor was fun and tasty! Afterwards, we enjoyed walking around the Central West End and enjoying our frozen treat.
