Sweets Week – Day 1
The last few months have been a bit of a whirlwind and sometimes you need to just indulge in a little treat. We decided to spend the week highlighting some delicious sweets in St. Louis for a sweets week! To begin the week, we will start with Sedara Sweets & Ice Cream. The shop is located in Affton in a little strip mall along Mackenzie. Inside there is seating on one side and a large display cabinet on the other filled with ice cream and an assortment of delicious sweets.
Besides ice cream, their is a variety of baked goods, such as a croissant or manaqeesh, but most importantly there is baklava. The baklava at Sedara’s Sweets & Ice Cream is absolutely incredible! We have had the pistachio and chocolate baklava, which were both delicious and essentially melted in your mouth. The menu at Sedara’s focuses on desserts, but there is also a small breakfast and lunch menu that is centered around Mediterranean cuisine. Sedara Sweets & Ice Cream also has a food truck, providing a mobile way to obtain some sweet treats! We have had the pleasure of ordering from their food truck while at the 9 Mile Garden. If you love baklava, (which why wouldn’t you?) you must try Sedara Sweets & Ice Cream.
