A growing chain that provides visitors with the opportunity to indulge in Czech pastries is the Kolache Factory. The location in St. Louis is in the Brentwood neighborhood, right off of Manchester road. The Kolache Factory is located in a single story brick building, with a shingled overhang, and glass walls along the entry. Since we visited during the pandemic we did not go inside, but instead had the food delivered to the table. When we visited we decided to order a large assortment of kolaches, including savory and sweet to try the fun little baked goods. Our family ordered the apple; cherry; strawberry; bacon, egg, and cheese; ranchero; sausage, egg, and cheese; and the bar-b-q brisket. Although the sweet flavors were good, we actually all agreed the savory flavors were our favorite. In particular the bacon, egg, and cheese was our favorite! We all agreed it was a fun, easy-going little meal for our weekly Sunday picnics.
