As the name suggests, The Gyro Company specializes in Mediterranean-style cuisine, especially gyros. The Gyro Company has two St. Louis locations, one in South City and the other in South County, though we have only visited the South City restaurant. The restaurant resides in an old brick building, with a fun corner entrance that leads to the small interior. The restaurant is simple, but clean, with only a couple tables and large counter, behind which visitors can see the gyro meat cooking.

The Gyro Company has a nice menu, specializing in gyros, of course. They have several varieties on the menu. They also offer a few appetizers, salads, subs, and pita pizzas, along with sides and desserts. We each got a gyro to go, and both of us found them delicious. Overall, we had a lovely experience at The Gyro Company, from the people to the food, and we would certainly recommend The Gyro Company as a great place in St. Louis for a gyro.
