First Watch is a chain throughout the United States that specializes in brunch. For years we visited the location in Kirkwood, MO and had no idea it was a chain. Each of the locations we have visited since we found out it was a chain has a fresh, opening atmosphere with light, bright colors to create a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The menu is quite large and has a wide assortment of breakfast and lunch items focused around eggs – in every form, pancakes, french toast, salads, sandwiches, and a variety of sides. We have tried an assortment of items on the menu, but one of our favorites is no longer on the menu – crepes with fruit. Each time we have visited they have continued to make our favorite dish upon request, which we greatly appreciate. No matter the First Watch location, the staff has been friendly, the food tasty, and no rush for us to leave so we can just sit and enjoy time with company – making it one of our favorite places to go to catch up with friends.
