A fantastic St. Louis restaurant located along Grand Avenue is Baida Moroccan Restaurant. Baida is in a two-story brick building and during the warmer months has a few tables out front for outdoor seating. Inside the restaurant is a small room with the counter in the back and the tables in the front. Throughout the room the walls are white and red, and the room is full of red couches and decorative pillows.
The menu is centered on Moroccan cuisine as the name suggests, and is delicious. Baida is known for their salads, tajins, and couscous. We recently got take out from Baida and ordered the chicken tajin and the sweet couscous. Both dishes were tasty, well-prepared, and had great flavors. Additionally, the portions were so large we had enough for two full meals! We both agreed as soon as we are able to dine in restaurants again we look forward to returning to Baida.
Side note: We had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, and he is absolutely delightful!
