Brew Hub Taproom is located in a clean, modern building in the shadow of a hotel across Interstate 64 from Forest Park. The interior of the restaurant is a large, open space with brewing and distilling paraphernalia around the room and large windows overlooking brewery equipment. Rich woods cover the table tops and bar, and leather accents, armchairs, and sofas add more warmth to the rooms. However, when we have visited we have chosen to sit outside on the large covered patio.

Brew Hub serves its own beer but also has several guest taps. Since we were visiting the brewery, though, we decided to try Brew Hub’s beers exclusively. Brew Hub’s beers are a mix of traditional styles and more modern takes on those styles, featuring ingredients such as fruits and spices. Some of these are even inspired by St. Louis cuisine, such as the Gooey Butter Blonde. In addition to its beer, Brew Hub also has a food menu with wraps, salads, pizzas, burgers, and other pub-style food. On two separate visits, we tried several different appetizers, as well as an appetizer. Overall, Brew Hub Taproom could be a nice place to check out if you’re in the area and in the mood for some pub food and beer.
