We recently had the pleasure of trying Balkan Treat Box. The restaurant is located in Webster Groves, but was originally a food truck. It is situated in a one story building, with expansive windows. Inside there is bright walls full of color, and a map of the Balkans to help situate the cuisine within its geographical context. The are tables along the walls, and one large wooden table that spans the room.

When we visited we arrived just before the rush. We ordered the pide and the doner, along with a drink. Both of our dishes were absolutely incredible! The food was well-prepared, well-made, well-presented, and delicious. Each dish combined an assortment of flavors that paired perfectly, and utilized  and were decent portions that provided us with leftovers. Shortly after we ordered the line was out the door, and the restaurant’s popularity is obvious due to the fact that they sold out by the time we finished our food.
