Honesdale is located in the northeastern corner of Pennsylvania, a small town near the Pocono Mountains. Honesdale has a lovely little downtown area, with some beautiful Victorian homes and a handful of streets lined with brick facades. One such building is the home of Here & Now Brewing Company, a small brewery with a quirky, but fun brewpub.

Although the street prevents the brewery from installing a large patio, they have added a handful of tables and chairs just outside the building for a nice outdoor seating area. Inside, there is plenty of exposed brick and other elements from the building’s history, giving an industrial vibe to the tasting room. Here & Now, however, has added some character to the space by adding some art and taxidermy to the walls, along with a large mural lining one wall.

While there we decided to both drink beer and grab a bite to eat, so we got a tasting flight and a pizza. We enjoyed getting to sample their different beers and found their pilsner to be our favorite, though they rotate their beers frequently. Our food was also well-done, and we left full, satisfied, and happy. Here & Now was a fun place to stop and grab a bite to eat and have a beer, so we recommend checking it out if you’re in the Honesdale area.
