Another of the Bailey’s Restaurants is Small Batch in Midtown St. Louis. The restaurant is located in a beautiful two-story brick building with large expansive windows that allow light to pour in. Inside the decor is a black and white palette, with black-and-white tiles, white marble tables, a black bar, silver chairs, black-and-white photos, and an accent wall of black-and-white accent damask. The first floor is framed around the bar, with tables around it throughout the room and along the windows. The second floor circles the restaurant and opens to the bottom floor with only a few tables.

Small Batch is known for vegetarian dishes and a large assortment of whiskeys. During our visit we tried a variety of whiskeys, the pad thai, and the lomo saltado. All of the dishes had vegetarian supplements making the dishes flavors different than the classic dishes. We both quite enjoyed the lomo saltado and our whiskey tasting, as well as the nice atmosphere. Besides whiskey, Small Batch also has a variety of fun cocktails, and appetizers, providing visitors with a nice dinner or drinks opportunity. For those who enjoy whiskey, or upscale vegetarian dishes, Small Batch is an ideal St. Louis restaurant.
