We would constantly seek out green space in New York, and Madison Square Park provided a nice reprieve. Madison Square Park is situated just north of the Flatiron Building and is home to the original Shake Shack. The park spans three city blocks and one avenue, providing an assortment of swatches of grass, and trees. Throughout the year the conservancy also has a variety of flowers to accompany the seasons. Besides providing a nice place to sit and relax, the park also offers a variety of events throughout the year including free concerts, art talks, and a food tasting event. One of our favorite parts of Madison Square Park was actually visiting after we went to a local restaurant in the evening, and just sitting in the park and enjoying the city lights.
