One of our favorite little coffee shops is Lanai Coffee located inside of our favorite city park, Francis Park, which is also in one of our favorite neighborhoods, St. Louis Hills. Lanai Coffee is in the center of Francis park, situated behind the tennis courts, and next to where the Compton Heights Band Concerts take place. The little coffee shop is located in the a stone structure at the base of the hill, and has several patio tables for visitors to sit at, creating a quaint environment to enjoy coffee.

Although Lanai Coffee is, as the name suggests, a coffee shop, they also offer shakes, smoothies, tea, lemonade, and a large assortment of coffee drinks. A unique feature of Lanai Coffee is that they offer a variety of drinks that incorporate lavender, which is both delicious and fun. Lanai Coffee also has some food items available, making it easy for visitors to visit the park and have a bite to eat in the park. We have visited a couple times now since the park is a short walk for us, and each time, the coffee and the atmosphere have been a lovely experience.
