NYC Restaurant Week – Day 5
A classic New York, and Little Italy eatery is Ferrara NYC, a cafe and bakery that has been around since 1892. Ferrara is in a classic New York style building that is a red brick several story building. There is a large bright sign to allow visitors to easily spot the building. The inside has a large counter running along the side with baked goods, while the rest of the restaurant is filled with wooden tables. The walls are covered in wood paneling and mirrors, while the room is filled with various lighting.

Ferrara has an opportunity for visitors to dine-in for brunch; however, the focal point is the baked goods, pastries, gelato, tarts, and cakes. Visitors can enjoy their treats in the restaurant or get them to. Dining in is a nice experience, with a wait staff similar to an Austrian coffeehouse, but it is also fun to grab a couple of the best cannoli’s we have ever tried and just walk around Little Italy.
