NYC Restaurant Week – Day 3

A lovely New York eatery in the Upper West Side is Marlow Bistro. The restaurant is a six story brick building located on a corner lot. The first floor has white door frames with glass all around that open when it is a nice day. Outside there is nice patio seating that wraps around, providing visitors with a large assortment of outdoor seating options. Inside there are two rooms, the bar and the main dining room. The main dining room has brick walls, exposed ceiling floor beams, wooden tables, and tiled floors. Light pours in from the outside, and the decor consists of vibrant green plants scatter throughout, helping to provide visitors with the sense they are outdoors no matter the season.

During our visit we sat in the main dining room right along one of the wooden door frames providing us with a nice view of the city. We began our meal with a couple of drinks, including a nice glass of Malbec red wine and the Nomad, which was quite tasty. For lunch we had the diavola and margherita pizzas, which were both delicious. Throughout the meal, the service was good, the scenery lovely, and the food was good, providing us with a lovely dining experience.
