A fun little eatery in our favorite New York City neighborhood, and where we still long to live, is Bevacco in Brooklyn Heights. Bevacco is connected to The Binc, and, thus, has a similar decor with marble table tops, cafe style chairs, tiled floors, a high top bar with ornate detailing below, and walls textured to look like cellar walls. The bar sits in the center of the room and the rest of the room is filled with small intimate table settings. When we visited we situated ourselves next to the expansive windows.
Bevacco is known primarily for Italian-style dishes that rotate based on the seasons. We visited with a friend and started by ordering cocktails and wine, all which were nice. Bevacco offers a nice assortment of cocktails, as well as wine, beer, and spirits. Afterwards, we ordered a couple of pizzas and shared them with the table. Besides pizza, Bevacco has a variety of salads, pasta dishes, paninis, meat options, and appetizers. The decor, food, and service were all nice, and our all of us enjoyed an evening at Bevacco.
