We recently had the pleasure of trying Knead Bakehouse and it has quickly become one of our favorite St. Louis restaurants. Knead Bakehouse is located in the Lindenwood Park neighborhood right across from Tilles Park. The little shop is in a non-assuming building along Hampton, but the front is covered in windows allowing light to pour in. Inside the bakehouse is decorated with bright, white subway tiles, and airy plants to create a light, fresh atmosphere. Since the bakehouse is quite small, there is a few tables and then wooden bar tops running along the back wall and front windows.

Upon entering there is a display case filled with beautiful pastries to choose from, and when we visited we selected the samoa donut, which was delightful and fun. We also ordered the hot porchetta and brie sandwich that was extremely flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The sandwich came with tasty homemade chips that were perfectly seasoned.  They also have loaves of scrumptious fresh bed to order for to go! We both enjoyed Knead Bakehouse so much we agreed we “knead” to go again!
