Whenever we go on a trip we decide to make the entire trip, not just the destination, an adventure. We try to stop off at different places along the way, such as wineries or parks. Recently, on one of many drives to and from New York City we stopped off at Warm Glow. The candle shop is located in Centerville, Indiana, near the Ohio border, and directly off the interstate, making it easily accessible. Warm Glow candles are known for being hand-dipped, and bumpy. They have a plethora of different scents, making it easy to find something for your individual preferences. When we visited, we decided to get a little candle for everyone in our family, as well as the various friends and family who we were visiting. As stated, the candles have a bumpy shape, making for a fun centerpiece.

Although Warm Glow is known for candles, it is not just a candle shop, and has a variety of home goods and Christmas decorations inside. There is also a restaurant in the shop, as well as bathrooms, floral arrangements, handmade soaps, a selection of Indiana wines, and a dessert counter, providing visitors with an opportunity to stretch their legs, grab some lunch, and even partake in a little shopping. Additionally, next door there is a artisan store with a coffee shop. While we visited we grabbed a latte that was quite lovely. We spent about 35 minutes at the Warm Glow stop, and we definitely enjoyed our little detour.
