Located along River Des Peres is Willmore Park in South City St. Louis. The park runs along the river and is a bit hilly, providing a various scenery to explore. Willmore Park provides a variety of opportunities for visitors including athletic fields, tennis courts, a playground, numerous pavilions, a dog park, a disc golf course, a couple of beautiful lakes, and walking trails throughout the park. Unlike other city parks in St. Louis that are as large as Willmore Park, the park does not provide as many events or festivals and the park is perhaps most known for providing athletic fields to sporting leagues and the pavilion accessibility.  Since the park is not too far from our house we have visited several times to enjoy the walking trails that the expansive park provides.
