Recently we visited Cafe Osage in the top portion of Central West End with a friend. Cafe Osage’s location is central to the city, making it a great meeting spot. We visited on a Saturday and were greeted to long lines (approximately 45 minutes), but the wait was worth it. Additionally, Cafe Osage is connected to a rather large garden store, which provides you the opportunity to shop for a variety of home goods and small house plants while you wait for a table. The overall structure of the cafe looks like a garden store with large paned windows to allow light in. The cafe itself is airy, with light colors and natural light and there is also a large outdoor patio to sit at as well. Everyone in our party coincidentally order the French toast with syrup, oranges, and a sprinkle of nuts-they were delicious! Overall the environment and the food were quite nice, making for a relaxed Saturday brunch.
