Busch Stadium is home to the St. Louis Cardinals, one of the most successful franchises in all of baseball. Busch Stadium is actually the second Busch Stadium–the first, a round stadium with rings of arches around the roof, was torn down after the 2005 season to make way for the new Busch Stadium, a beautiful brick structure that matches St. Louis’s many other brick buildings. The stadium offers good views of the field no matter where your vantage point is, but perhaps the best view in the stadium is the one looking over center field–that part of the stadium is shorter and affords excellent views of St. Louis’s iconic arch.

Visitors to the stadium can park in myriad parking lots nearby for a fee, or choose to walk a little bit farther and park for free. The stadium has plenty of options to buy food or drinks, and even offers a selection of local craft beer. Because all of the seats provide nice views of the action, even cheaper tickets allow visitors to see the game well, making for a great experience at the ballpark. St. Louis fans are known for being some of the best fans in baseball, so games are usually fun and enjoyable. It should also be noted, however, that Busch Stadium hosts other events as well, including concerts, soccer matches, and even hockey’s Winter Classic. The stadium’s downtown location also affords visitors the opportunity to explore some of St. Louis’s other attractions, such as the Arch and old courthouse, the Anheuser-Busch brewery, the City Museum, and a number of restaurants and breweries.
