In the Kips Bay neighborhood is Stone Creek Bar & Lounge, a local hangout style bar. The outside of the building is rather non-assuming with a basic maroon awning and a window looking into Stone Creek. Inside there is a bar that runs along the majority of the left wall with a little lounge seating in the front near the front window and along the right wall is a row of high top tables. The decor is fairly simple with some stone wall features and then dim lighting, black metal tables, and black high top chairs. In general, Stone Creek has a basic casual bar vibe and there are a few televisions throughout if you are interested in watching a game. Stone Creek also has various trivia nights that visitors can partake in. We partook in a Friends Trivia night and had a great time being “so good at lighting rounds!”-Monica Geller. The bar offers a variety of pub style snacks and as can assumed a variety of standard drink options. The drinks are pretty typical Manhattan prices. Stone Creek Bar and Lounge is definitely more of a local hangout, so for those in the Kips Bay neighborhood who want a relaxing night and a drink of two, Stone Creek may be an ideal place to stop by.
