A simple and healthy side dish to any meal is lemony rice! We try to regularly drink lemon water so we always have a plethora in the house and thus incorporate it into various meals.

Ingredients:

-Brown Rice

-Half a Lemon

-Garlic Powder

All you have to do is start by cooking the amount of rice you would like. We usually make it in bulk and use it throughout the week. Afterwards squeeze fresh lemon into the rice to taste and then add a dash of garlic (or more depending on your taste buds)! This was a refreshing side dish on its own; however, we incorporated it also into veggie tacos, which made them a lot more fulfilling. This can be added to various meals though, so it is a great staple to make at the beginning of the week.
