New York City is full of local restaurants and coffee shops that each have their own charm and character. We will never be able to explore them all, but we can enjoy the few we have the opportunity to visit. In Williamsburg, Brooklyn there is a little coffee shop, Lula Bean’s Cafe that is quite nice and has thus far been one of our favorite places to visit. It is located on Grand Street, right off of the L train at the Grand stop. The cafe is not very large, but is warm and inviting. There are only a few tables and they are tucked closely into one another. The cafe has red brick walls, with wood flooring. Lula Bean’s offers visitors a variety of coffee and food options, making it a great place to sit and enjoy a treat while doing some reading or work. When we visited, we enjoyed our food and delicious iced vanilla latte. We actually ran into a friend while we were there and he said that it was his favorite local spot and that he frequented there often. We both enjoyed Lula Bean’s and found it to be a lovely little place to visit.
