We had a plethora of mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil so we decided to throw it all together for a quick pasta dish. This meal wasn’t perhaps our favorite, but it was fun to try and a great way to use up our ingredients.
Items Needed:
-Rotini Noodles
-Mozzarella
-Tomatoes
-Fresh Basil
-Olive Oil
-Balsamic Vinegar
As we cooked the rotini noodles, we chopped the mozzarella, tomatoes, and fresh basil. After the noodles were cooked, we drizzled olive oil on the noodles to ensure they didn’t stick and then placed the mozzarella, tomatoes, and fresh basil in, as well as drizzled some balsamic vinegar. We mixed it all together. The dish itself isn’t overly flavorful so if you are looking for some zing you may want to adjust the recipe. As well, we believe there are lots of similar recipes out there, so perhaps just search on Pinterest, but this was the result of us throwing some ingredients together. Also, it doesn’t keep well, so make sure you eat it all up or have guests over!
